Today at 1pm, Atlanta's Mayor Kasim Reed and other special guests such as Janelle Monae, Michele New(FGI Inc. and Marketing Director of Saks Fifth Ave.), and Mychael Knight, kicked off "Fashion's Night Out" in Atlanta by holding a press conference at the City Hall. Atlanta's "Fashion's Night Out" will happen on September 10, 2010. Various Atlanta retailers will offer model showcases, DJ's, and giveaways.
These retailers will include shops at Phipps Plaza such as Cole Haan, Jeffrey, Jimmy Choo, Mezlan, and Saks Fifth Avenue; as well as other boutique shops in Atlanta. Approximately 75 Atlanta stores have signed on to participate in this event.
