Urban Outfitters INC. is reported to have had a large increase in earnings this month. The company is expecting to open 35 stores in their fiscal 2011 year! There will be an accessories-only store for Anthropologie which will open in the third quarter, and half of the accesories-only store will be filled with shoes!Urban Outfitters INC. also plans to increase e-commerce and accelerate international expansion. A launch in Tokyo is set for 2012. Since about a week and a half ago, Urban's earnings were at $71.7 million. Earnings per diluted share was at 42 cents. Total net sales for the quarter rose by 20 percent to $552 million.
